Refund & Cancellation

At MenuGo, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy explains our cancellation process, billing cycles, and refund eligibility. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

1. Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

You can cancel your MenuGo subscription at any time directly from your account dashboard:

  1. Log in to your MenuGo account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation

When Cancellation Takes Effect

Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to all paid features until that date. After the billing period ends, your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan.

2. Billing Cycles

Monthly Subscriptions

Billed on the same day each month. For example, if you subscribe on January 15th, you'll be billed on the 15th of each subsequent month.

Annual Subscriptions

Billed once per year on your subscription anniversary date. Annual plans offer significant savings compared to monthly billing.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the next billing date. We will send you a reminder email 7 days before renewal.

3. Refund Eligibility

General Policy

MenuGo operates on a no-refund policy for subscription fees. Once a billing cycle has started, we do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time.

Exceptions

We may issue refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error
  • Service Outage: If our service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same period
  • First 14 Days: If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription and have not actively used the service

All refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days.

4. After Cancellation

You Keep

  • Access to free plan features
  • Up to 10 menu items
  • Your account and data
  • Basic QR code functionality

You Lose

  • Unlimited menu items
  • Advanced analytics
  • AI-powered descriptions
  • Priority support
  • Custom branding

If you have more than 10 menu items when you downgrade, the oldest items will be archived (not deleted). You can restore them anytime by upgrading again.

5. Requesting a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under our exceptions policy:

  1. Email us at support@menugo.live
  2. Include your account email and order details
  3. Explain why you believe you qualify for a refund
  4. We will review your request within 2-3 business days

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account.

6. Free Plan

Our Essential (Free) Plan is available indefinitely with no credit card required. You can:

  • Create up to 10 menu items
  • Generate QR codes
  • Access basic features
  • Upgrade or downgrade at any time

7. Payment Failures

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.):

  • We will attempt to charge your card up to 3 times over 7 days
  • You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
  • If all attempts fail, your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan
  • You can update your payment method in your dashboard at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
